Every single second I had to wait for the drone dude to scan something felt like death. I tried scientist, but that clearly wasn't for me. looks pretty cool.Īlso, I really like the Soldier path. If there was some really good reason for why they would drive other races from their homeworlds and harass them all the time (like they would inevitably go extinct if they didn't do it), then I might be able to sympathize with them, but as I see them now, they are just the villain faction. What I really don't like about the Dominion, and maybe that is just something that the game's introduction is lacking in, is that it really seems like they are just plain elitist jerks. There have been some hints which may or may not prove important / lead to something later on. The overall story hasn't really changed or developed where I'm at (~80% through Celestalon which is the second zone planet-side if you start at the Aurin place but you seem to be significantly involved in the stories of recurring characters which do develop even though a lot of it is basically excuses to move you through the zone (as you'd expect). Drives me up the wall.Įdit: As for the story I agree it starts out fairly weak. There also seems to be a whole bunch of minigame element to crafting and it adds ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to it but annoyance.
#WILDSTAR 2 STEP VERIFICATION CODE NOT WORKING FREE#
Free some random guy stuck in a cage? MINIGAME.
Arm an entirely mechanical bear trap? MINIGAME. Speaking of annoyances, someone on the quest team has a raging obsession with mini games. Said a significant enough amount to annoy him weren't.
I've played mostly solo but heard from a friend that tried it with some others where they all played together that it was pretty random whether or not quest objectives in a squad were shared or not. I'm not sure about normal mobs, I wasn't able to try, there weren't that many people on my zone, there were hundreds on the arkenship but mobs there die with 1 hit. Although there were the differences, I’m so glad to have gotten the chance to work on that, and meet so many awesome people.Speaking of multiplayer friendliness, at least quest mobs, are shared tags, THANK GOD. It was wonderful to see many fantastic former co-workers post about #Wildstar. There are so many old friends who say something about #Wildstar today, so there is an escort hanging out with Blasto. Some of the funniest bugs I’ve seen in a game, including getting punted across multiple zones when dismounting a taxi /BapPvcLJKE. He learned a lot and made thousands of life-long friends on the way. I love and spend some time working on it. I’m not in love with the cupcakes right now, I am not able to put up with the cupcakes bringing #wildstar. There are some of those artifacts that make me cry a lot a moment I look at them. Goddamnit could get this on this #WildStar memory train.
In spite of it being our community, we thought we would round up these posts, and share them with readers, when we still love WildStar a lot. While there is one significant difference in this issue, the WildStar developers are gathering together for an impromptu virtual wake to share the title and stories for the upcoming adventure. It seems to show that this game still consists of a lot of love and memories. Frequently, the players wore a torch for the sunset-shaped scifi MMO. Many years ago, a flash of WildStar nostalgia explodes on Twitter.
